The following points will help you when preparing your files for upload or ahead of your visit. If you need any advice on any aspect of image preparation please call us on 020 8761 0552.
Resolution – please ensure your image resolution is high enough for printing. 300dpi at the print size required will be sufficient for both c-type and giclee processing. If your file resolution is low you can interpolate it for better results. For successful interpolation we recommend software such as Genuine Fractals or in Adobe Photoshop > Image > Image Size > Resample Image > Bicubic Smoother.
Cropping – please crop your images to the print sizes required. If there is a problem with image size/cropping we will always call you to suggest one of the following before processing the prints.
File Format – Tiff, Jpeg, file formats preferred. PDF files can also be printed.
*Tiff files should not have multiple layers. If you have worked with layers, make sure you flatten them before submitting files to us. Also when saving your tiffs, in "TIFF options" select - Image compression - None.
